Sandhya Suraksha Yojane

Sandhya Suraksha Yojane is a social security pension scheme of the Government of Karnataka that provides monthly financial assistance to elderly citizens who do not have a regular source of income and are not covered under other pension schemes. The scheme aims to ensure financial security and improve the quality of life of senior citizens belonging to economically weaker sections. Eligible beneficiaries receive a monthly pension through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) into their bank accounts.

Eligibility

1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

2. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.

3. Applicant must be 65 years of age or above.

4. Applicant should not be receiving any other government social security pension (unless permitted under applicable rules).

5. Applicant must belong to an economically weaker family and satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Government of Karnataka.
