Mythri Pension

The Mythri Pension Scheme is a social welfare scheme of the Government of Karnataka that provides monthly financial assistance to transgender persons (gender minorities) who have limited or no regular source of income. The scheme aims to promote social security, financial independence, and improve the quality of life of eligible beneficiaries. It is implemented by the Directorate of Social Security and Pensions, Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka.

Eligibility

1. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.

2. Applicant must identify as a transgender person (gender minority).

3. Applicant must possess a valid Transgender Identity Certificate or any other document prescribed by the Government.

4. Applicant must satisfy the income criteria prescribed under the scheme.

5. Applicant should not be receiving any other pension unless permitted under the applicable government rules.

Terms & Conditions

The applicant must provide accurate and genuine information.
Original documents may be required during verification.
Incomplete or incorrect applications may be rejected.
The concerned department may request additional documents if necessary.
The pension is sanctioned only after successful verification of eligibility.
The beneficiary must inform the concerned authority of any change in marital status, income, or other eligibility conditions.
Submission of false information may result in rejection of the application, cancellation of benefits, recovery of pension amount, and legal action under applicable laws.
