Farmer Widow Pension
The Farmer Widow Pension (FWP) is a welfare scheme of the Government of Karnataka that provides monthly financial assistance to the widow of a farmer who died by suicide due to agricultural distress or loan-related reasons, subject to eligibility and verification by the competent authorities. The scheme aims to provide financial security and support to the affected family.
Eligibility
1. Applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
2. Applicant must be the widow of a farmer.
3. The deceased farmer’s suicide must have been officially recognized as an eligible farmer suicide case by the Department of Agriculture.
4. The applicant must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Government of Karnataka.
5. The applicant should provide all required supporting documents for verification.

Terms & Conditions
- The applicant must provide accurate and genuine information.
- Original documents may be required during verification.
- The deceased farmer's case must be officially recognized by the Department of Agriculture.
- Incomplete or incorrect applications may be rejected.
- The concerned department may request additional documents if necessary.
- The pension is sanctioned only after successful verification of eligibility.
- Submission of false information may result in rejection of the application, cancellation of benefits, recovery of pension amount, and legal action under applicable laws.
