Physically Handicapped Pension
The Physically Handicapped Pension is a social security scheme of the Government of Karnataka that provides monthly financial assistance to persons with physical disabilities who are unable to earn a regular livelihood. The scheme aims to support eligible persons with disabilities by helping them meet their basic living expenses, medical needs, and rehabilitation requirements. Under the Karnataka Social Security Pension Scheme, eligible beneficiaries with 75% or more disability receive a monthly pension as prescribed by the Government.
Eligibility
1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
2. Applicant must be a resident of Karnataka.
3. Applicant must have a certified physical disability issued by a competent Medical Authority.
4. The applicant must meet the disability percentage prescribed under the scheme.
5. Applicant must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Government of Karnataka.
