A Living Certificate, also known as a Life Certificate, is an official document issued by the Revenue Department or the competent authority certifying that an individual is alive as of the date of issuance. The certificate is commonly required for the continuation of pensions, social security benefits, family pensions, government welfare schemes, bank verification, insurance claims, and other official purposes where proof of life is mandatory.

Eligibility

1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

2. Applicant must be alive at the time of application.

3. Applicant must provide valid identity and address proof.

4. The applicant must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the competent authority.
