HK Region Only Eligibility Certificate

The HK Region Only Eligibility Certificate is an official document issued by the Revenue Department, Government of Karnataka, certifying that an applicant is eligible to claim reservation benefits under Article 371(J) of the Constitution of India. Unlike the combined Eligibility & Residence Certificate, this certificate primarily establishes the applicant’s eligibility for reservation in education and government employment under the Kalyana Karnataka (formerly Hyderabad-Karnataka) region based on the prescribed eligibility criteria.

Eligibility

1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

2. Applicant must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed under Article 371(J).

3. Applicant must qualify based on the prescribed residence, study, or parental eligibility criteria notified by the Government of Karnataka.

4. Applicant must provide the required supporting documents for verification.

5. Applicant must meet the conditions specified by the competent authority.
