High Security Registration Plate (HSRP)
A High Security Registration Plate (HSRP) is a standardized, tamper-proof vehicle registration plate issued as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), Government of India.
Eligibility
1. Applicant must be the registered owner of the vehicle.
2. The vehicle must be registered with the Regional Transport Office (RTO).
3. The vehicle should be eligible for HSRP installation as per the applicable State Transport Department guidelines.
4. Valid vehicle registration details must be available.
Mandatory Documents
1. Vehicle Registration Certificate (RC)
2. Aadhaar Card or any Government-issued Identity Proof
3. Registered Mobile Number
4. Vehicle Registration Number
5. Chassis Number (last 5 digits, if required)
Supporting Documents
As required by the issuing authority.
Processing Time
3–10 Working Days
(Subject to plate availability and appointment schedule.)
Government Fee
As per the fee prescribed by the respective State Transport Department.
Terms & Conditions
- The applicant must provide accurate and genuine vehicle information.
- The vehicle owner must carry the original Registration Certificate (RC) during installation, if required.
- HSRP installation is subject to the rules and guidelines of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and the respective State Transport Department.
- The applicable fee must be paid before scheduling the installation.
- Incomplete or incorrect information may result in rejection or delay of the application.
- Submission of false information or forged documents may result in cancellation of the application and legal action under applicable laws.
