The certificate verifies the applicant’s caste status based on the records of their native state and is commonly required for education, employment, scholarships, government welfare schemes, and other official purposes, subject to applicable Central and State Government rules.

Eligibility

1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

2. Applicant must belong to a Scheduled Caste (SC) or Scheduled Tribe (ST) recognized by the Government.

3. Applicant or the applicant’s family must have migrated from another state or region.

4. Applicant must provide proof of migration and caste status from the native state.

5. Applicant must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the competent authority.
