Acid Victim Pension

The Acid Victim Pension is a social welfare scheme of the Government of Karnataka that provides monthly financial assistance to survivors of acid attacks. The scheme aims to support victims by helping them meet their daily living expenses, medical needs, rehabilitation, and social reintegration. Eligible beneficiaries receive a monthly pension of ₹10,000, subject to the prevailing Government orders.

Eligibility

1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen.

2. Applicant must be a resident of Karnataka.

3. Applicant must be a verified survivor of an acid attack.

4. The acid attack must be supported by medical records, police records, or court documents.

5. Applicant must satisfy the eligibility criteria prescribed by the Government of Karnataka.
