Agriculturist Certificate
An Agriculturist Certificate is an official document issued by the Revenue Department or the competent authority certifying that an individual is an agriculturist (farmer) engaged in agricultural activities. The certificate is commonly required for purchasing agricultural land (where applicable), availing agricultural loans, subsidies, government welfare schemes, crop insurance, and other benefits offered to farmers.
Eligibility
1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
2. Applicant must be engaged in agricultural activities or farming.
3. Applicant should own, cultivate, or legally lease agricultural land, as per applicable State Government rules.
4. Applicant must be a resident of the respective state.
5. Supporting documents must be submitted for verification.
