Voter ID Card
A Voter ID Card, officially known as the Elector Photo Identity Card (EPIC), is an official identity document issued by the Election Commission of India (ECI). It serves as proof of identity and enables eligible Indian citizens to vote in elections. The Voter ID is also accepted as a valid identity proof for various government and private services.
Eligibility
1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
2. Applicant must be 18 years of age or above as of the qualifying date prescribed by the Election Commission of India.
3. Applicant should ordinarily reside in the constituency where the application is made.
4. Applicant should not already be enrolled as a voter in another constituency.
