Domicile Certificate
A Domicile Certificate is an official document issued by the Revenue Department that certifies an individual’s permanent residence in a particular state or union territory. It is commonly required for educational admissions under domicile quota, government jobs, state-sponsored scholarships, welfare schemes, and other benefits available to permanent residents.
Eligibility
1. Applicant must be an Indian citizen.
2. Applicant must be a permanent resident of the respective state or union territory.
3. Applicant should satisfy the domicile criteria prescribed by the State Government.
4. Valid supporting documents must be submitted for verification.
